Three rules run through every visit at Amber.

  • Assessment first. Nothing is proposed until your history and skin have been reviewed in person.
  • Evidence before enthusiasm. A new machine is not a reason on its own. If the evidence for a treatment is not persuasive, it is not recommended.
  • Discretion throughout. Private rooms, unhurried time and confidential records.

The quote is written down at the consultation, and nothing is booked before you have seen it. Packages are not pushed. Sometimes the advice is to wait, or to do less, and you will hear that before any figure.

What she does at Amber

Dr. Naznin Holia assesses every patient and plans every treatment. She plans each injectable treatment after watching how your face moves, and fillers are placed by the doctor. PRP and GFC for hair are doctor-performed, using your own blood and sterile, single-use kits.

Laser hair reduction, laser toning, Hydrafacial, peels and the other device treatments are planned by her and delivered with the support of the clinic’s trained team. The devices were chosen with Indian skin in mind, among them the Candela GentleYAG, an Nd:YAG platform suited to Indian and deeper skin tones, for laser hair reduction.

When the answer is not a treatment

Part of a doctor’s job is saying no. Sudden, heavy or patchy hair loss is looked at medically before anything cosmetic, and some people are sent for tests first. If a hair transplant would serve you better, she will tell you, even though Amber does not offer transplants. If filler will not help the concern you came with, you will hear that at the assessment rather than after a treatment.

That is also why Amber does not publish prices. The right plan, and sometimes the decision not to treat at all, can only be made once a doctor has seen you.
